- AAT Sri Lanka Examination consist of Three Levels
- AAT Sri Lanka Examinations are held twice a year in January and July
- All the questions papers will be in all three media, Sinhala, Tamil & English
- The time limit for each question is 3 hours. Only for Level II and Level III, an additional 15 minutes will be given to read and understand the question paper.

Eligibility
Only the active students are eligible to apply for AAT Exams. To be an active student of AAT Sri Lanka, the student should be registered with AAT during that calendar year. Those who have already registered should renew their student registration for that particular year.
Ability to sit for Level I and Level II Together
A Candidate may apply for all the subjects and sit for level l and level ll together or apply and sit for subject by subject, as desired by the applicant.
However, a candidate is allowed to sit for Level lll, only if he /she has completed all the subjects in Level l and Level ll or obtained exemptions for those subjects with the qualifications you already have.
In order to apply for Business Communication (BC) subject candidate should have complete or obtained exemptions for Level I subjects.
Applying for Examinations
Examination Entry Forms and Pay-in-Vouchers are issued free of charge. One common form is used for all Levels. Normally, the Examination Entry Forms will be posted to active students of AAT.
If he / she has not received Examination Entry Form from the AAT Sri Lanka by post, student may obtain an examination entry form by calling over at the AAT Sri Lanka Head Office during office hours from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on weekdays by producing his / her valid Student Identity Card and can do the same from AAT branches on the dates mentioned in the press advertisement.
Examination Entry forms will NOT be issued without the valid Student Identity Card.
Further if you are a registered/renewed student you can apply for the examination via online through AAT Website. When you are making the examination fee you can do it via the portal itself or can upload the manual deposit slip to the online application.

Forwarding Entry Forms
Completed Examination Entry Forms, together with exam fee payment slip, should be sent under “Registered Post” in provided envelop to reach Head of Examinations - AAT Sri Lanka before the closing date of examination.
Or put it into the box kept at AAT Head office for that purpose, after enclosing the Examination Entry form and other documents in a 9’ x 5’ envelope. Envelopes are normally provided by the AAT Sri Lanka along with the Examination Entry form.
Late Entries
Late Examination Entry Forms will be accepted up to seven days from the normal closing date of Examination at the AAT Sri Lanka office, on payment of an additional 50% of the normal fee.
